how my morning pages changed my days

I was never a morning person. Since I was a baby. It has always been a struggle to get me out of bed. Once I found a morning routine that energized me and helped me feel confident to tackle my day, there was no turning back for me.

One of the things that has had the best and most impact on my mood, clarity, productivity, and health throughout my day has been my morning pages.

What are my morning pages? Simply put, you brain dump for 30 minutes before you do anything else. Some days I find myself writing very profound realizations and other days I write about how cute I think my dog looks over and over again. No matter what your pages look like from day to day, they are all beneficial.

Being able to clear your head, write down your insecurities, write down your dreams, what you are joyful for and even what you wish could change is so powerful. You are putting pen to paper and taking actions towards becoming your best self. There is something so therapeutic about becoming vulnerable and writing down the things that make you sad and those that you are striving towards. I guarantee that bringing light to all of your ups and downs with motivate you to make a change.

After challenging myself of doing a months worth of morning pages, I felt more inspired than I ever had. I gave myself confidence in all aspects of my life. I felt genuinely happier. I stopped picking silly fights with my husband because I was taking out my own anxiety and insecurity on him. I felt that I was able to show up better for myself and for those that I love. Having that boost of confidence and feeling like I was really learning who I was changed my days. I challenge you to do the same! Guarantee you won’t regret it.
